JALC approached us with an exciting opportunity: create a special video series to run on the media wall within the Ertegun Jazz Hall Fame. We developed a distinct visual design to celebrate the creativity of jazz and to bring to life rarely heard conversations with the jazz legends enshrined in the Hall of Fame. We curated audio recordings from both public and private collections that we then edited and mixed into engaging short pieces that served as the foundation for each animated short.
Ten, two-minute episodes were created featuring icons, such as Miles Davis and Duke Ellington.
The series is on permanent display at Jazz and Lincoln Center in New York City and is being distributed on the JALC YouTube channel.
